LEFT: Sculpture Services of Colorado staff clean the statue of Theodore Roosevelt on horseback near the Roosevelt Park Zoo Visitor Center in Minot. The cleaning of the statue was paid for by donations to the Minot Park District Foundation, said Elly DesLauriers, executive director of Parks. She said cleaning and routine maintenance of outdoor sculptures are essential because of the elements they face, whether from climate, human interaction or animal activity.
