The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified those involved in three recent crashes.
Ricardo Rubio, 50, Los Banos, California, died in a one-vehicle rollover on N.D. Highway 28, about 1/2 mile north of Ryder, on Sunday, Sept. 27. Rubio was a passenger in a Ford F-150 pickup driven by Andres Rubio, 47, Belfield, who was injured in the crash.
Carey Ziegler, 67, Karlsruhe, died in a pickup-commercial vehicle (CMV) crash about three miles east of Velva on Tuesday, Sept. 22. Ziegler was the driver of a GMC Sierra pickup that was struck by a Freightliner CMV pulling a dump trailer. The Freightliner was driven by Justin Baker, 46, Parshall. Baker was not injured.
Mitchell Miller, 48, Leesville, Louisiana, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, of injuries sustained in a Sept. 20 pickup-semi crash on U.S. Highway 2, three miles south of Tioga. Miller was the driver of a Ram 1500 pickup that was struck by a semi driven by Gerardo Corral, 25, Greybull, Wyoming. Corral was not injured.
