Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 4 presented a $1,000 academic scholarship to Ellianna Graves, a Dakota College of Bottineau-Minot Campus student, during a DAV Coffee social held Sept. 2 in the Ward County Administration Building’s Veterans Room. The scholarship was formally awarded to Graves, center, by Sr. Vice Commander Ron Garcia, left, who recognized her for her academic dedication and her support of the veteran community. At right is Graves' mother, Jennifer Graves. DAV Chapter 4 remains committed to supporting veterans, their families, and students who demonstrate service, leadership and community involvement.
