Youth interested in investigating a career in healthcare are invited to join Trinity Health's Healthcare Exploring program. Trinity announced a kickoff event will be held on Wednesday, Sept 2, at 5:30 p.m. Attendees will meet in the Trinity Health Hospital atrium, 2305 37th Ave SW, Minot.

The Healthcare Exploring program will meet monthly at Trinity Health.

The Healthcare Exploring Program is designed for students in grades 9-12 who are interested in healthcare careers and want to learn about different medical professions. The program will give students the chance to learn and experience many areas of healthcare, including hands-on activities and visits with professionals in various medical fields.

Completed membership application and orientation are required to participate in any of the observation and job shadowing experiences. The application will be available at the kickoff event, and a parent or guardian must attend the first event.

Trinity Health Foundation will cover the participation fee, as well as provide a monthly meal. If unable to attend the kickoff event but interested in participating, call Maren Vangsness at 857-5643.
