ALEXANDER – A 43-year-old woman from Trenton died from injuries received in a vehicle crash near Alexander Friday, Aug. 21.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol about 10:34 p.m., a 2016 Ford Mustang driven by Aqqaluk Wilkins, 31, Williston, was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed on 146th Avenue Northwest near the intersection of 39th Street Northwest, northwest of Alexander.
Wilkins failed to negotiate a curve and the vehicle left the roadway, entered the ditch, vaulted and rolled. He was transported by ambulance to Williston and later flown to a Minot hospital with serious injuries.
A passenger, Crystal Adams, 43, Trenton, died from injuries sustained in the crash.
They were wearing their seat belts, according to the Highway Patrol.
The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
