This year's National Night Out will be Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 5:30-8 pm in Oak Park.
The free event is sponsored by Trinity Health, the Minot Police Department, the Minot Park District and many other Minot businesses and community agencies.
The community event promoting public safety will feature free games, food, face painting, prizes and inflatables, as well as educational booths, Trinity Health's First Response Ground ambulance, law enforcement special equipment displays and Minot Police K9 demonstrations.
National Night Out is an annual event encouraging stronger community relationships with one another and with their local law enforcement partners. The goal is to heighten crime-prevention awareness and build support and participation in local anti-crime programs.
