Minot State University has some big changes coming in 2026.
Michael Linnell, MSU communications director, said classes start Monday, Aug 24, for those with classes after 4 p.m. and for the first full day, Tuesday, Aug 25. Move in weekend starts Friday, Aug 21.
The university will also be working on renovating the student center into smaller individual classroom centers.
It has been announced that a new bachelor’s degree in innovation engineering will be available, along with a new master’s in mental health and substance use, and a master’s in cybersecurity and information assurance, all of which will be available this fall. These are due to local rising demand for engineers and a global and local demand for mental health professionals and cybersecurity professionals.
