Military veterans, guides and Minot Elks Lodge #1089 members display fish that were caught during the Elks-sponsored Veterans Fishing Day on Lake Sakakawea on July 11.
Fourteen veterans spent the day fishing with Elk members and five guides. Meals were provided during the fishing and at the end of the day. An Elks National Foundation Beacon Grant provided the funding for the event.
