A Main Electric worker replaces a light fixture on a pole along Burdick Expressway near Magic City Campus Wednesday, Aug. 12. The North Dakota Department of Transportation contracted with the company to replace the older-style high-pressure sodium lights with newer LED lighting, which will be less expensive to operate. The work along Burdick is part of an NDDOT project to install the LED lighting along state roadways that include Broadway, Valley Street and the U.S. 2 & 52 Bypass in Minot.
