Thousands of Airstream owners from 49 states, four Canadian provinces and Germany will arrive in Minot Saturday, Aug. 22, for the 2026 Airstream Club International Rally that runs through Thursday, Aug. 27.
Minot leaders have worked with Airstream Club International rally planners for five years to prepare for the event, coordinating efforts across the community to welcome attendees and showcase Minot throughout their stay, according to Visit Minot.
"Hosting the Airstream rally has been years in the making, and it's an opportunity to introduce visitors from across North America," said Stephanie Schoenrock, executive director of Visit Minot. "Our businesses, attractions and community partners have all played a role in preparing to welcome attendees and make the most of their time in Minot."
Throughout the week, attendees will take part in community events and give back through a blood drive and a service project supporting Souris Valley United Way's Backpack Buddies program, with a goal of packing 2,300 food bags for local students.
Although the rally is a private event, the public will have an opportunity to see vintage Airstream models during an open house Sunday, Aug. 23, from noon to 4 p.m. in the public parking lot off 27th Street Southeast, immediately upon entering the North Dakota State Fairgrounds.
Previous Airstream Club International rallies have generated an average estimated economic impact in excess of $2 million in host communities, with visitor spending reaching restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, retailers and other local businesses, Visit Minot reported.
