Air museum plane receives award

Submitted Photo Shillelaugh, a P-51B owned by Bruce Eames of Houston, Texas, and part of the Bruce Eames Warbird Collection at the Dakota Territory Air Museum in Minot, received Reserve Grand Champion at EAA AirVenture 2026, the largest gathering of aviation enthusiasts in the world, recently held at Oshkosh, Wisconsin. A rare and historically significant aircraft, it was restored by AirCorps Aviation in Bemidji, Minnesota. AirCorps crew pose for this photo with Shillelaugh after the test flight. The plane is displayed at the Minot musuem.
