Williston receives FAA grant for hangar
WILLISTON – The Federal Aviation Administration has awarded $4.7 million to the City of Williston through the Fiscal Year 2026 Airport Infrastructure Grant program to construct a 9,600-square-foot aircraft hangar for storage and maintenance at Williston Basin International Airport, according to U.S. Sen. John Hoeven, R-ND, a member of the Senate Transportation Appropriations Committee.
“This investment will help support Williston Airport’s ability to serve the region while enhancing its operational and financial capacity,” Hoeven said in a news release. “The new hangar will enhance airport operations, generate additional revenue and help meet the needs of North Dakota’s growing economy.”
