Following its 28th Annual Building Hope Women's Golf Tournament and Third Annual Chopper Drop, Trinity Health Foundation has announced $35,361 was raised to support the CancerCare Patient Assistance Fund.

The CancerCare Patient Assistance Fund provides direct financial assistance to cancer patients and their families, as well as essential items such as gas cards, wigs and compression garments.

This year's tournament theme, in honor of America's 250th Anniversary, was Red, White and Blue, bringing the patriotic theme to every corner of Souris Valley Golf Course.

Jade Myers, Jennifer Schoffstall, Geri Zarr and Sage Wible were the 2026 Building Hope Champions. Jackie Velk, Michelle Tollefson, Vickie Fitzmaurice and Rita Sommers won the cart-decorating contest, and Corallea Hansen won the Chopper Drop.

"None of this happens without our sponsors and supporters showing up year after year," said Darla Miller, foundation manager. "Trinity Health Foundation is so thankful for their continued belief in this tournament and what it means for patients of the Trinity Health CancerCare Center."
