WASHINGTON - The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has awarded a $486,178 grant to the Three Affiliated Tribes (MHA Nation) to expand access to medications and treatment for individuals with opioid use disorder, U.S. Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-ND, announced.
The award is part of a total of nearly $1.9 million awarded to organizations in North Dakota to support substance abuse and mental health services, food and drug research and addiction research.
The North Dakota Department of Agriculture received $124,894 for Food and Drug Administration research.
