SVUW invites public to have breakfast for Backpack Buddies
Souris Valley United Way invites the public to its Second Annual Backpack Buddies Drive-Through Breakfast on Wednesday, Aug. 12.
SVUW is providing a homemade caramel roll and orange juice for $5, with proceeds going to support the Backpack Buddies program. Every breakfast purchased helps provide nutritious, weekend food for local children through the program.
During the 2025-2026 school year, Backpack Buddies served more than 620 unique students in Minot and on Minot Air Force Base.
The drive-through will take place from 7:30-9:30 a.m. in the Minot Auditorium's south parking lot.
Those looking for a breakfast for a work team, family, friends or other group can preorder a pan of 12 caramel rolls - homemade at the Parker Center - and 12 orange juices for $60. Pans will be available for pickup during the drive-through event. To preorder, email to emily@svunitedway.com by Aug. 6.
