City of Minot offices will be closed Friday, July 3, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.

The Minot Public Library will be closed and there will be no public transit on July 3.

For water service emergencies, residents should call 857-1500.

There will be no residential garbage collection on July 3, but there will be a makeup collection for Tuesday/Friday customers on Wednesday, July 1. The City of Minot landfill will be open from 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on July 3, but will be closed on Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5. Free landfill week for City of Minot sanitation customers will take place the following week. Bring a City of Minot utility bill for proof of services. The City of Minot sanitation customer appreciation week at the landfill will be Monday, July 6, through Saturday, July 11, from 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. daily.
