Midco hosts free day at Minot zoo

Midco announced it is inviting the Minot community to enjoy a full day of free family fun during Midco Free Day at Roosevelt Park Zoo on Thursday, July 9, from 9 a.m.-8 p.m., with complimentary admission for all guests.

“We invite the Minot community to explore a variety of amazing animals, the Discovery Barn, giraffe feeding station and more,” said Midco Senior Community Relations Coordinator Hanna Bartels in a news release. “From carousel rides to the Critter Caboose and zoo trading cards, there’s something for guests of all ages to enjoy.”

“Roosevelt Park Zoo is thrilled to partner with Midco to offer this free day to our community,” said Lexi Williams, Public Program manager at Roosevelt Park Zoo, in the release. “Opportunities like this make wildlife education more accessible while giving families a chance to connect, learn and create lasting memories.”

Williams added that a new zoo feature has been finished and more are on the way.

“We have a brand-new sandbox for kids to enjoy, and we’re currently planning an expansion of the zoo,” she said. “We can’t wait to show everyone our plans for the growth of this incredible community attraction.”

Starting at $3.75/week.
