July 4 parade celebrates nation’s 250th birthday

ELOISE OGDEN/MDN Many lined Fourth Avenue Northwest in Minot to watch the Minot Shrine Club Fourth of July Parade Saturday, July 4. Veterans were among those taking part in the parade. Other events held in the city on Saturday included Minot Parks Fourth of July Festival in Oak Park, a Hot Tots baseball game, racing at Nodak Speedway and the Minot Fireworks Association's choreographed fireworks show at the fairgrounds at the end of the day.
