One of the North Dakota State Fair’s most anticipated traditions returned as Food Frenzy brought together local judges to sample some of the fair’s newest and most popular menu items before the gates officially opened.
After tasting entries from vendors across the fairgrounds, this year’s Food Frenzy winners are: Quality Seafood Market “Coconut Shrimp/Seafood Market”; Cobbler in a Cone “Peach Cobbler in a Cone with Bourbon Caramel Sauce”; and Meg-A-Latte Coffee House “1776 Mocha.”
Judges for this year’s event were Kyara Brown, Ben Kramer, Chad Schmidt, Logan Gunderson, Audra Butler, Quaid Frantsvog, Ben Bohl, Jenna Kluting and Danielle Rued.
“We look forward to Food Frenzy every year because it’s a fun way to celebrate the incredible food our vendors bring to the Fair,” said Craig Rudland, general manager of the State Fair. “It’s always exciting to see the creativity on display.”
The 2026 North Dakota State Fair runs through July 25 in Minot.
