McLean County crash results in fatality
MERCER – A 48-year-old Mercer man died of fatal injuries in a single-vehicle crash south of Mercer Sunday, June 7, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze was traveling northbound on Highway 41, two miles south of Mercer, during the early morning hours at an unknown time when it failed to negotiate a curve and rolled. A passerby observed the crash scene at about 5:58 a.m. and called 911. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
