Applications for the 2026 North Dakota State Parade in Minot will close on Sunday, June 21, at 11:59 p.m.

The entry application form is available at ndsparade.com.

Twyla Scott, parade chairman, said as of Friday, June 12, there are 204 entries in the parade.

The 44th parade, with the theme, “Honoring 250 years of Heroes,” will be held Saturday, July 18. The parade starts at 9:15 a.m. and follows Burdick Expressway East from Broadway through the N.D. State Fairgrounds.

This year the N.D. State Parade Committee has selected the Western North Dakota Honor Flight as the grand marshal. The Western N.D. Honor Flight’s selection as grand marshal recognizes the military veterans living in western North Dakota and the volunteers, spouses, donors and communities who support the Honor Flight mission.
