DUNSEITH – A 49-year-old Dunseith man died from injuries received in a one-vehicle crash at Dunseith Saturday, May 30.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, about 1:59 a.m., a Chevrolet Silverado K1500, driven by the Dunseith man, was traveling southbound on 28th Avenue Northeast, south of the intersection with 99th Street Northeast, at an unknown speed. The Chevrolet failed to negotiate a curve, lost control and struck a tree. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Highway Patrol.

The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
