Dakota Hope to host free adoption education event

BERTHOLD — Dakota Hope Clinic, with support from the Berthold Baptist Church “Mission Field,” will host a free community educational event titled “Option Hope ND — Learning, Understanding & Celebrating Adoption” on Monday, June 22, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Berthold Sportsmen Club, 210 Main St. Berthold.

According to Dakota Hope, the purpose of the event is to provide evidence-based information about unplanned pregnancies and modern infant adoption, reduce misinformation and stigma, and equip participants to better support individuals facing pregnancy and adoption decisions. Attendees will learn about unplanned pregnancy trends and options available in North Dakota, fetal development and informed decision making, modern adoption practices and misconceptions, the differences between adoption and foster care, and ways communities can provide compassionate support to individuals and families. The presentation will also incorporate real- life adoption perspectives and experiences to encourage understanding and meaningful discussion.

The program is part of Dakota Hope Clinic’s broader Adoption Education initiative, which seeks to expand access to research-based adoption education through schools, churches, community groups and professional organizations across the region.

Dakota Hope Clinic serves Northwestern North Dakota with locations in Minot, Tioga, and Bottineau. The clinic provides pregnancy, parenting and family services designed to support individuals and families with compassionate care, education and practical resources.

Everyone is welcome to attend this free community event, and no registration is required. Refreshments will be served. Recommended for adults and students entering grade 7 and older.

Starting at $2.99/week.
