Minot Public Library is partnering with Ward County Public Library to kick off their annual Summer Reading Challenge with a scavenger hunt through downtown Minot that will be held on May 30 at Main Street Books from 1-2:30 p.m.

The Challenge will run from June 1 through July 30 and patrons of all ages can participate by reading for 20 minutes every day for the chance to win fun prizes. This year’s theme is Unearth a Story, so throughout the summer MPL will hold various dinosaur and archaeology themed events.

In addition to winning prizes, each day a participant reads, they’ll earn a token to vote for a new design for a bench that will replace the current one in front of MPL.
