Letter carriers in Minot will be collecting nonperishable food items in a drive on May 9.

Discontinued locally during the pandemic, the Letter Carriers’ Food Drive is a national event held the second Saturday in May. With its return to Minot, postal customers are asked to place their food items in bags next to their mailboxes on May 9. The donations will be picked up and delivered to a local food bank.
