Federal grants support area initiatives
BISMARCK – The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has announced the award of more than $4.2 million to programs and initiatives across North Dakota, according to U.S. Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-ND.
Among those receiving funding are:
– $1.92 million to Spectra Health in Devils Lake through the Health Center Program to support comprehensive primary and preventive care.
– $1.8 million to Northland Community Health Center in Turtle Lake through the Health Center Program to support comprehensive primary and preventive care.
– $156,463 to Minot State University to support the identification of children who are deaf or hard of hearing and help connect them with the support they need.
– $17,332 to TGU School District for Head Start projects.
