Trinity Health Foundation has announced the 28th Annual Building Hope Women’s Golf Tournament and 4th Annual Chopper Drop will be held on Monday, June 8, at Souris Valley Golf Course in Minot.

The event will also benefit the CancerCare Patient Assistance Fund. This fund provides direct financial assistance to cancer patients and their families, as well as essential items such as gas cards, wigs and compression garments.

In honor of America’s 250th Anniversary, this year’s theme is Red, White and Blue. Golf prizes throughout the day will be given for first through third places, last place, longest drive, longest putt and closest to the pin. There also will be an award for the best decorated golf cart.

Register online or at the event at 10 a.m. on June 8.

The 4th Annual Chopper Drop is a 50-50 raffle in which hundreds of numbered golf balls are dropped from a helicopter hovering above the course. Each ball corresponds to a purchased entry, and the ball closest to the target wins the grand prize. Golf balls can be purchased online, with numbers assigned closer to the tournament date. One need not be present to win.
