Summer food truck festival to support film program

ND Strong has announced the Minot Food Truck Festival will be back for its 10th year on Sunday, Aug. 30. The festival will take place from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. in Oak Park.

The Minot Food Truck Festival features a wide variety of food trucks, local vendors and family-friendly activities, creating a full day of experiences for attendees of all ages. As the event marks its 10th anniversary, organizers are continuing the tradition of supporting The Film Dudes, a program dedicated to providing hands-on film education to students across North Dakota.

Proceeds from the festival help cover travel and program costs for The Film Dudes, allowing schools to offer film residency programs at no cost to students or schools. These programs provide opportunities for students from elementary through college levels to learn filmmaking, storytelling and media production through interactive, real-world experiences.

Festival admission will be available at the gate on the day of the event.

ND Strong is accepting applications for food truck vendors and event sponsors. Businesses and vendors interested in participating are encouraged to apply on the Minot Food Truck Festival website.

Questions can be directed by email to minotfoodtruckfestival@gmail.com.

The event is sponsored by ND Strong, a nonprofit serving as a film resource for the state of North Dakota. Through educational programs, industry support and hands-on opportunities, ND Strong works to grow and strengthen the film community across the region. The Film Dudes is a program of ND Strong.

Starting at $2.99/week.
