Minot watermain projects receive state funds

BISMARCK – The North Dakota State Water Commission announced approval of more than $20.6 million in funding for projects including flood control, water supply and other water infrastructure projects across the state during its April 8 meeting in Bismarck.

The approved projects include $2.08 million 11th Avenue Northwest watermain replacement and nearly $1.93 million for Dakota Homes and Second Avenue Southwest watermain replacement, both in Minot.

“The State Water Commission had to make some difficult decisions today as project requests outnumbered the available funding,” said Reice Haase, director of the Department of Water Resources. “The approval of these nine projects, and more than $20.6 million in funding, represents the importance of these projects and the significant impact they will make on our communities across the state.”

Starting at $2.99/week.
