Two forums will be held next week for the public to get to know the mayor and city council candidates seeking election on June 9.

The Minot Area Chamber EDC’s Governmental Affairs Committee, in partnership with the City of Minot, invites the public to these moderated forums, which will provide an opportunity to hear directly from candidates for mayor and Minot City Council.

The first forum is set for Tuesday, April 14, from 4-5 p.m. The second forum will be Wednesday, April 15, from 4-5:30 p.m. Both are scheduled to be held in Minot City Hall, council chambers.

Those attending in person will have the opportunity to submit questions during the event. The public may also submit questions in advance to minot@minotchamberedc.com. Submitted questions will be reviewed and considered by the forum moderator.

Community members are encouraged to attend in person or tune in via the Minot Area Chamber EDC or City of Minot social media.
