Funds available to improve maternal health in ND
FARGO – Organizations supporting maternal health care in North Dakota are invited to apply for a Maternal Health Grant through the Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota Caring Foundation.
Each year, BCBSND Caring Foundation invests in community-based, data-driven initiatives that support pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care and early parenthood. Selected organizations will receive grants to address care gaps and improve outcomes for mothers and families statewide.
“Community-driven solutions are key to improving maternal health, and we are proud to support organizations advancing maternal health in communities across North Dakota,” said Amber Blomberg, BCBSND Caring Foundation executive director, in a news release.
The grant application period ends April 30. North Dakota-based nonprofits and community organizations are eligible to apply. Grants support projects such as expanding access to prenatal and postpartum care, maternal health education and outreach, mental health and wellness support for mothers and families and community-drive and culturally responsive care solutions.
