Also receiving scholarships were Brenna Borgen of West Fargo, Horace High School, attending the University of North Dakota for commercial aviation; Chaskee Schmidt of St. Anthony, Flasher High School, attending Bismarck State College for pre-physical therapy; and Ladan Jama, West Fargo High School, attending the University of Minnesota Duluth for psychology.

This year marks the fifth anniversary of the Town & Country Credit Union Scholarship Program. High school seniors who are members of the credit union were invited to submit essays addressing the question, “How do you plan to make a positive impact in your chosen career field?” A team of Town & Country Credit Union employees reviewed each submission to ensure a fair and thoughtful selection process.

“Supporting students as they take the next step toward their goals is incredibly meaningful to us,” said President/CEO Kalli Schell. “Their passion, determination and vision for the future are truly inspiring, and we’re honored to play a small part in their journey.”
