Young women who are seniors in high school are invited to apply for a $1,000 scholarship to any college from the National Women Involved in Farm Economics (WIFE).

There is no application form, but applicants must submit name, address, college of planned attendance, and an essay on their ideas for the future of agriculture and their familiarity with (WIFE). They also must include two recent photos and two letters of recommendation from nonrelatives. The deadline is April 10.

National Women Involved in Farm Economics is sponsoring the scholarship. Each state will choose a winner and submit their selections to the national scholarship chairman, who will make the final selections.
