Student club to offer community crochet classes
The Magi Crochet Club at Minot High School is hosting crochet classes for the public on April 14-15.
Classes are open to anyone ages 7 and older who is interested in crocheting. Beginners can learn the basics of crochet and make a washcloth, while more experienced crocheters can learn specialized or advanced skills. Cotton yard, a 5mm hook and supplementary materials will be provided, but participants can bring their own supplies or projects.
Magi Crochet Club members and experienced crocheters from the Minot area will provide one-on-one instruction.
The Tuesday, April 14, class runs from 4:30-6:30 p.m., and the Wednesday, April 15, class runs from 5:30-7:30 p.m., both at Magic City Campus High School, Room 206. Follow signs from the front entrance or come through Door 7.
For information on fees and registration, visit the club’s social media page. The registration deadline is Monday, April 6.
Proceeds will go toward the crochet teachers’ hours, supplies and the club’s year-end banquet.
