BURLINGTON — A 60-year-old Foxholm man died from injuries he received in an off-highway vehicle crash, northwest of Burlington, Sunday, March 8.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Sunday evening the driver was operating a 2001 Polaris Magnum 500 (Class II OHV) northbound in the 7200 block of 87th Street Northwest, northwest of Burlington. The driver lost control of the vehicle after striking an area of mud and standing water on the road. The vehicle left the road, entered the ditch and overturned.

The driver was taken to a Minot hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The exact time of the crash is unknown.

The driver was not wearing a helmet, according to the Highway Patrol.

The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
