Deadline for Good Neighbor nominations is March 22
The deadline for applications for Minot’s Good Neighbor Award is Sunday, March 22.
The award is similar to Citizen of the Year awards made by Minot’s mayor in 2021 and 2022. Mayor Mark Jantzer will make this year’s award at the State of the City event on Monday, April 6, at 4 p.m. in City Hall.
Selection will be made by a mayor-appointed committee.
Nominations are being accepted on the City of Minot’s website. Nominations should include a short essay or video highlighting the nominee’s volunteerism, leadership, passion for betterment, selfless or humanitarian act, or community service. It is acceptable to be recognized for work done within the nominee’s profession.
The nominee must live, work or provide a service in Minot city limits. City staff and current elected officials are not eligible.
Nominations should include contact information for the nominee and submitter and at least one phone of the nominee.
