Comedian to set stage at NDGOP convention

Comedian Tim Young will appear Saturday evening, March 28, at the 2026 Republican State Convention in Minot. The NDGOP will co-host a “Fun Raising” event with Republican National Committee Co-Chair KC Crosbie to entertain delegates and guests with Young’s comedic political commentary. Delegates, alternates and guests can purchase tickets online from NDGOP.

Young is a Heritage Foundation’s Media Fellow, where he focuses on free speech, media bias and conservative messaging.

“We’re at critical time in our country and I wouldn’t pass up an opportunity to speak with one of the best grassroots Republican state parties in the country. I’ve actually been to Minot before, and I know how to pronounce it, because I visited during the COVID lockdowns when I decided to travel the country instead of staying home.” Young said.

Young has served as director of Marketing for multiple conservative publishers and CPAC. He is CEO of Veebs, an app that empowers American consumers to align their purchases with their values.

Young has built a presence as an outspoken advocate for free speech and limited government. His impact can be seen in his sharp critique of government inefficiency, his defense of individual liberties and his ability to resonate with a sizable audience through humor and unfiltered takes.

“Politics can be a serious business. The Committee on Arrangements wanted to give the delegates and alternates an opportunity for entertainment, laughter and fellowship,” NDGOP Chair Matthew Simon said.

The 2026 NDGOP State Convention is scheduled for March 28-29th in Minot at the All Seasons Arena with an evening social for delegates and alternates only on March 27, featuring Minnesota Senate candidate Royce White. The NDGOP keynote and prayer breakfast speaker is Steve Deace. Prayer breakfast tickets are available for delegates and guests.

Starting at $2.99/week.
