Ward County to host meeting on CR 23
SAWYER – Ward County will host a public input meeting on Thursday, Feb. 26, from 5-7 p.m. to discuss the reconstruction and paving of County Road 23 from Sawyer to the junction of U.S. Highway 2.
The meeting will be held at the Sawyer City Hall Pavillion at 45 Main Street. The meeting will be an open house format with no formal presentation.
The project includes paving the existing gravel surface to include two 12-foot driving lanes with two-foot shoulders. Construction is tentatively scheduled for 2027 and 2028, depending on the availability of funding.
Representatives from Ward County and KLJ Engineering will be on hand to answer questions and discuss concerns.
