The North Dakota State Fair has announced that pop sensation Alex Warren will perform at the Grandstand on Friday, July 17, as part of the State Fair’s 2026 entertainment lineup. The performance will be offered as a single-ticket show.
One of the fastest-rising artists in pop music, Warren has quickly emerged as a global standout known for his raw honesty, powerful vocals and deeply personal songwriting. His breakout single, “Ordinary,” has surpassed 1 billion streams and earned platinum certification, while his album “You’ll Be Alright, Kid” explores themes of healing, resilience and optimism. Warren has appeared on major award shows, late-night television and recently wrapped a sold-out global headlining tour, solidifying his status as one of music’s most compelling new voices, according to State Fair information.
“Adding him as a single-ticket artist gives fairgoers even more flexibility and choice in an already strong Grandstand lineup for 2026. His momentum is incredible, and we’re excited to bring that energy to our Grandstand,” said Craig Rudland, NDSF general manager.
Warren’s performance is one of three single-ticket Grandstand shows scheduled during the 2026 North Dakota State Fair, with two additional single-ticket acts to still be announced.
The 2026 Grandstand Showpass includes six nights of entertainment, featuring performances by Jon Pardi, Jesse Murph, Niko Moon and Zach Top, along with two nights of the MHA Indian Horse Relay.
Tickets for Warren’s performance will go on sale this spring.
The 2026 North Dakota State Fair will be held July 17-25 in Minot.
