Pets rescued from mobile home fire
The Minot Fire Department rescued four pets from a mobile home fire in southeast Minot Wednesday, Feb. 25.
According to the Minot Fire Department, crews were dispatched shortly before 5 p.m. to the 3500 block of 11th Avenue Southeast for a report of a mobile home on fire. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke conditions from a kitchen fire, and a search of the residence confirmed no one was home at the time of the incident.
Firefighters rescued two dogs and two cats from the residence, all of which survived. Crews worked to control and extinguish the fire, and no injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
