Minot man sentenced for fentanyl delivery, paraphernalia

A Minot man was sentenced on Feb. 13 to serve three years with the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation after pleading guilty to his role in a narcotics distribution operation in Minot.

Adam Boe, 36, entered a change of plea in accordance with a plea agreement in North Central District Court on Friday, pleading guilty in two cases to accomplice to deliver controlled substance-fentanyl, a Class B felony; and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia use SI SII SIII second offense, a Class C felony.

According to court documents, the charges against Boe stemmed from a Ward County Narcotics Task Force investigation in September 2025. A controlled purchase of about 2 grams of fentanyl was conducted through a confidential informant, which resulted in Boe being identified as one of the parties involved in the transaction, along with Michael Razzano, 36, Minot, and Charles Thornton, 48, Taylor, Michigan.

District Judge Stacey Louser sentenced Boe to serve a consecutive sentence for both cases, serving the first 18 months of a 10 year sentence for the B felony, followed by 18 months of a 5 year sentence for the C felony. Boe was given credit for 129 days served and ordered to complete 3 years of supervised probation upon release and complete a chemical dependency evaluation.

Boe also was assessed $1,300 in court fines and fees along with $1,140 in restitution.
