KENMARE — The Kenmare Police Department and Ward County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an incident that took place in Kenmare in the early morning of Wednesday, Feb. 18.

No details about the incident were released.

“At this time, there is no reason to believe there is an active threat to the community of Kenmare or the surrounding area,” Kenmare Chief of Police Tyler Rispa said in a news release issued Wednesday afternoon.

The Minot Police Department, Ward County Sheriff’s Office and the Kenmare Ambulance Service were thanked for helping respond to the incident.
