Ice Warrior Plunge to benefit cancer causes
NEW TOWN — MHA Nation will host the 10th Annual Ice Warrior Plunge Monday, Feb. 23.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the MHA Energy building, 305 4th St., New Town. The event starts at 11:30 a.m. with participants jumping into frozen Lake Sakakawea. Maps to the plunge area on 4 Bears Peninsula, west of New Town, will be provided at registration.
The event is one of the MHA Nation’s signature medical fundraisers, generating awareness and funding for the MHA Nation Cancer Fund and the American Indian Cancer Foundation. In the past nine years, the Ice Warrior Plunge has raised more than $500,000.
