Suicide Prevention Certification training offered
NDSU Extension is offering a free QPR Suicide Prevention Certification training on Monday, Jan. 26, from 3-4:30 p.m. at the Ward County Administration Building, meeting room 108.
Participants will become equipped to recognize the warning signs of suicide and take action. Participants will learn how to Question someone about suicide, Persuade them to seek help, and Refer them to appropriate resources.
The workshop is for everyone and no prior experience is needed. Participants will receive a certificate at the end of the workshop that will be valid for 2 years. For more details, contact NDSU Extension at 857-6444.
