“Josh has a history of working hard for the local community in every position he has served in. I am confident that the library is in good hands and is heading in a positive direction,” Minot Public Library Board President Christine Cherry said in the announcement.

“I am very happy to have served the Minot community for nearly 10 years and have enjoyed teaching and assisting community members,” Pikka said. “I hope that as director I can help our excellent staff continue the work that we have done in the past and keep making Minot a special place to live.”
