Minot businessman announces campaign for US House

Ferris Broxton

Ferris Broxton of Minot, a businessman and North Dakota resident for the past eight years, has announced he is seeking the Republican endorsement for the state’s U.S. House of Representatives.

The seat currently is held by Republican Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak, who has announced she is seeking reelection. Also previously announcing his candidacy is Alex Balazs, who was the Republican’s endorsed candidate in 2024.

Broxton describes himself as a longtime government accountability advocate and a critical eye-witness in matters tied to national investigations and national security. He said his decision to run for office comes from frustration with the agencies and politicians that fail to deliver transparency, accountability and meaningful response.

“My goal is not simply to point out what’s broken,” Broxton said. “I’m the eye witness who has already done half the work to expose the perpetrators. I will bring sunlight and accountability as soon as I’m heard. I’ve got solutions that I’ve designed after living in that corrupt machine and seeing how it really works.”

Broxton’s biography states he is a graduate of The University of Georgia. He said he has owned a lawn maintenance/landscape company and currently is a crude hauler.

Broxton said his campaign will focus on completing the task he has begun with government accountability, constitutional rights, educational integrity and restoring faith in public institutions.

Starting at $2.99/week.
