STANLEY — A juvenile suspect was arrested by Stanley Police and charged with the gross sexual imposition of a juvenile under the age of 10.

According to a release from the Stanley Police Department, an officer investigated a report on Dec. 19, 2025, of sexual abuse involving a juvenile victim. Following a forensic interview of the victim, Stanley Police investigators determined the male juvenile suspect allegedly engaged in sexual acts with the victim. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with gross sexual imposition-juvenile delinquent act, a Class A felony. The suspect was transported and booked into the Ward County Juvenile Detention Center.

According to Stanley Police Chief Sam Pesik, due to the ages of those involved and the nature of the case, no further information will be released at this time.
