BISMARCK – A valve leak occurred at a site about 25 miles north of Williston last week, resulting in the release of produced water.

The North Dakota Oil and Gas Division was notified of the valve leak, according to a news release.

Hydra Services, LLC reported that 37,800 gallons of produced water were released into containment on Dec. 23. As of Dec. 29, all of the produced water was recovered.

A N.D. Oil and Gas inspector has been to the location and will monitor any additional cleanup required.
