SBARE seeks public input on Extension services
The North Dakota State Board of Agricultural Research and Education (SBARE) is seeking public input on the needs for agricultural research and education in the state. SBARE provides the Legislature and governor with recommendations on how North Dakota State University Extension and the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station can address critical needs and maximize the return on the state’s investments.
SBARE will prepare recommendations for the 2027 legislative session by receiving input from stakeholder groups and individuals. All North Dakotans are invited to share their thoughts on critical needs and concepts.
For information regarding online submissions, contact Erin McCall at erin.mccall@ndsu.edu or 231-7656. Written testimony also can be submitted to SBARE at: NDSU Dept. 7520, PO Box 6050, Fargo, North Dakota 58108-6050.
The deadline for providing written input is Jan. 5. Participants are encouraged to describe their agricultural research or NDSU Extension needs, potential solutions and an explanation of how these solutions can bring added value to North Dakota.
