Submitted Photo Wreaths lay on the graves in the veterans section of Rosehill Memorial Park Cemetery Saturday, Dec. 13. Volunteers laid more than 1,000 wreaths on the graves of fallen heroes at the annual Wreaths Across America Ceremony. A program featured guest speaker U.S. Air Force Col. Tom Joyce, retired; long-time Wreaths Across America supporters Richard Reuer and Dean Verstraete; local Scout Troop 4412; Civil Air Patrol’s cadets; a three-round volley of gunfire and the playing of TAPS.
